Donna Jean Tafolla

Mrs. Donna Jean Tafolla was born September 8, 1965, in Page, Arizona to Martha Helen Flake and William “Bill” Burgy.  She departed this life Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, having attained the age of fifty-five years, eleven months, and twenty-seven days.

She made a profession of faith and was a member of The Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church in Sulphur Well.  She attended college in New York having attained an associate degree and worked as a Registered Nurse.  She was avid in the scouts and was the Scout Master of Troop 3.  She loved animals, she also enjoyed canning and quilting.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Tafolla whom she was united in marriage to on July 5, 1996; three sons: Mikey, Jeremy, and Matthew Tafolla all of Greensburg, Kentucky;  her father and stepmother: William “Bill” Burgy and Beverly of Huricane Mills, Tennesee; her mother: Martha Helen Flake of Boulder, Colorado;  two brothers, one sister and their spouses: Billy Burgy and his wife Angie of Lakefield, Minnesota, Nick Burgy and his wife Cindy of Wellington, Colorado and Desiree Fagan and her husband Ryan of Modesto, California;  Three special friends: Wilma Wilson of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Tonya Heun and Kayla Boo Reynolds both of Arizona.  Plus, a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Donna Jean Tafolla will be conducted 11am, Central Time, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sulfur Well Cemetery. Bishop Don Cooper will be officiating.

Visitation at the graveside will be from 10 am, Central Time, until the funeral hour. 

Interment will follow in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church cemetery.

The Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
