William D. “Bill” Clark of Greensburg passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his home having attained the age of eighty-five years, nine months and twenty-five days. He was born on October 10, 1940, in Lafayette, Indiana to the late William Lee and Pauline Bagby Clark. He moved to Kentucky around the age of 10.

He had made a profession of faith and was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He was in the Air Force for four years and worked at Fort Knox for forty years.

He was united in marriage to Tylene McMahan Clark on March 31, 1962.

Together this union brought two daughters: Sherri Clark Beard of Greensburg and Michele Clark of Georgetown, KY.

Survivors include two grandchildren: Erik Thompson (Samone) of Bowling Green and Bliss Lane (Ben) of Crail Hope; five great grandchildren: Andrea Thompson Ervin (Colen) of Bramlett, James Thompson (Rose Fuston) of Newt, Graci Lane (Elijah Cantley), Christian Lane and Raelynn Lane of Crail Hope; one great great grandson: Carter Thompson of Newt; one brother: Joel Clark of Campbellsville.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Daniel Tyler Harlow of Georgetown, KY on August 13, 2024; two brothers Bobby and Steve Clark; one grand daughter-in-law Kristy Thompson.

A PUBLIC graveside service for William D. “Bill” Clark will be 12 Noon Central Time Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Greasy Creek Cemetery in the Exie Community of Green County with Bro. Thomas Metcalfe officiating. Full Military Honors will be presented by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Everyone is invited to attend.
