Tommy Young

Tommy Young was born February 27, 1950, in Green County, KY to the late Carmon Young and Dorine Allen Durham. He departed this life Wednesday August 19, 2026, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of seventy-six years, five months and twenty-three days.

He was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked as a boiler operator for Cox Interior for many years. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother: Donald Young and one sister: Lisa McFarland.

He is survived by three sisters and two brothers: Betty Sallee of New Albany, Indiana, Ellen Aaron, Robert Young, Deborah Harris and Lonnie Durham, all of Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service for Tommy Young will be 12 noon Central Time Monday, August 24, 2026, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, with Bro. Freddy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in the Summersville Community with Full Military Honors provided by the Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Central Time Sunday and after 7 A.M. Central Time Monday until the funeral time at 12 noon Central Time at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
