Tavie Louise Perry was born February 28, 1942, in Green County, KY to the late John Daniel “Dan” Coffey and Virginia “Virgie” Bagby Coffey. She departed this life Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Green River Trails Nursing Home in Greensburg, having attained the age of eighty-three years, seven months and thirty days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Separate Baptist Church. She was a factory and restaurant worker. She was also a homemaker. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers: Richard Hayes Coffey, Cecil B. Coffey, Glen R. Coffey, Gene Austin Coffey and William Albert Coffey.

She is survived by one sister: Margaret Coffey Houk of Greensburg, three nephews and one niece: Larry and Lester Houk, Brian Coffey and Tina Wisdom of Greensburg, a special friend: Jim Wright, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Tavie Louise Perry will be 1 pm Central Time Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Wayne Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery in the Little Barren Community of Green County. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Central Time Tuesday until the funeral time at 1 p.m. Central Time Tuesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Thompson Cemetery Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
