Richard Tyra Puckett

Richard Tyra Puckett was born July 18, 1952, in Louisville to the late Calvin and Doris Evelyn Boyd Puckett. He departed this life Saturday, February 21, 2026, at his home in Metcalfe County having attained the age of seventy-three years, seven months and three days of age.

He was a Christian and a United States Navy Veteran. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing. He also had a love for horses, two special ones named Leroy and Ginger and he loved motorcycles. He also had a special dachshund dog named Paisley.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Geraldine Wilson.

Survivors include his wife: Mary Puckett of Metcalfe County; three children: Richard Tyra Puckett JR and his wife Lauren of Richmond, Jeffrey Boyd Puckett and his wife Cheryl of Loveland Colorado, and Alessia Nicole Price of Mobile, Alabama; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
