Richard Coomer

Richard Coomer was born January 23, 1942, in Green County, KY to the late Earnest and Nellie McKinney Coomer. He departed this life Sunday, November 1, 2026, in Arizona, having attained the age of 84 four years, 9 months and 9 days.

Besides his parents Earnest and Nellie McKinney Coomer, he is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Coomer and his sister: Orthella Clark.

He is survived by his children: Sandy Miller of Leitchfield, KY, Pam Robinson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Joe Coomer of Leitchfield, KY and Richard Short of Texas. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law: Donnie and Judy Coomer of Greensburg, one sister: Priscilla Bailey of Beckley, West Virgina, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, special niece and caregiver: Linnea Lindsey, a special friend: Shirley Jeffries, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
