Lucy Wilcoxson Sutton

Lucy Wilcoxson Sutton was born July 22, 1936, in Green County, KY to the late Lymon and Ellie Mae Rodgers Wilcoxson. She departed this life Friday, October 23, 2026, in Green County, having attained the age of ninety years, three months and one day.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was Baptist.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Carlos Edward Sutton; one son and daughter in law: Randall and Pat Sutton; one brother: Lyman Wayne Wilcoxson; four stepbrothers: Oliver, Goble, Tom Ed, and Austin Franklin; four stepsisters: Catherine Reynolds, Marie Parsons, Nora Dale Paxton, and Florence Osher.

She is survived by two daughters; Patsy Wright and her husband Hubert, and Elishia Donna Sutton all of Greensburg; one grandson: Trevor Wright and his wife Natalie of Greensburg; one brother: Lloyd Allen Wilcoxson of Pennsylvania; one sister: Lottie Curtis of Campbellsville; several nieces, nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Lucy Wilcoxson Sutton will be conducted at 1 PM central time, Monday, October 26, 2026, at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Jordan Abell officiating and burial will follow in the Greensburg Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10 AM Central Time, Monday, until time of the Funeral Service.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Bible fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and those can be made at the funeral home.
