Joshua Michael Shirley

Joshua Michael Shirley was born December 24, 1980, in Louisville, KY to Michael Dan Shirley and Sharon Faye Hedgespeth Shirley. He departed this life Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, having attained the age of forty-five years, one month and eleven days.

He was a handyman, a farmer and an employee of D.C. Pallet Liquidation. He loved his children, grandchild and his family.

He is survived by his two daughters: Madison RaeAnn Shirley and fiancé Zack Wilson of Somerset, Grace Michelle Shirley of Somerset; mother: Sharon Faye Hedgespeth Shirley of Bowling Green; father: Michael Dan Shirley of Greensburg; one grandchild: Jaxon Wilson; one sister: Amy Lynn Shirley of Bowling Green, one brother: Adam Shirley and wife Abigail Lynn of Greensburg, plus a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 3 PM Central Time until 6 PM Central Time, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home

Officiating: Jenny Newman

The family has chosen cremation following the funeral service. There will be no burial.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home to help with the expenses. These can be made at the funeral home.
