James Harold "Jimmy" Locke

James Harold “Jimmy” Locke was born August 22, 1950 in Green County, KY to the late Harold Locke and Bessie Nunn Locke. He departed this life Friday, March 20, 2026 at the University of Louisville Hospital, having attained the age of seventy-five years, six months and twenty-nine days.

He had professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Shirley Locke; one son, Adam Locke; two sisters; Priscilla Skaggs and Shelia Pippin.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Salings Locke; one son, Jessie Locke of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Carrie Cunningham and Patricia (of Tennessee); one step daughter, Amanda Curtsinger of Taylorsville, KY; one stepson, Brandon Salings of Louisville, KY; three sisters, Carolyn Riggs of Upton, KY, and Diane Kersey and Kathy Hampton, both of Hart County, KY; grandson Chris Mullins of Charlestown, Indiana, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for James Harold “Jimmy” Locke will be held at 12 :00 noon Central Time on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, with Bro. Dennis Estes officiating. The burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am Central Time until the funeral time at 12:00 noon on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Mullins, Brandon Salings, Gavin Salings, Jeff Curtsinger, Devon Sanders, Ray Riggs
