Felty Borntreger

Felty E. Borntreger of Hardyville was born October 7, 1968 in Branch County, Michigan to Eli Borntreger and Margaret Schwartz Borntreger. He departed this life Saturday, October 24, 2026, having attained the age of fifty-eight years and seventeen days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended The Amish Church.

He is survived by his wife Martha M. Yoder Borntreger;

Eleven children:

Leroy and Edna Schwartz Borntreger, Clara and Jacob Hochstetler, Irene and Jonathan Schwartz, Eli and Mary Kemp Borntreger, all of Hardyville,

Roman and Elizabeth Yoder Borntreger and Mary and Joseph Yoder of Fort Scott, Kansas;

Children yet at home: Jacob, Rosanna, Elnora, Effie, and Josephine Borntreger; sixteen grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters, many nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Felty E. Borntreger will be 8:30 AM Central Time Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at his home at 2912 Whickerville Road, Hardyville, KY. Burial will follow at 10:30 AM Central Time in the Amish Three Springs Cemetery in Metcalfe County.

Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg is in charge of the arrangements.
