Doris Dean (Haskins) Mitchell

Mrs. Doris Dean Haskins Mitchell was born August 29, 1933 in Green County, KY to the late Shed and Lottie Penick Haskins. She departed this life Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, having attained the age of eighty-four years, ten months and twenty-five days.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joe Mitchell, son James Nelson Mitchell, sisters and brothers: Sally Anderson, Columbus Haskins, Mary Lucy Johnson, Penick Haskins and Spencer Haskins.
She is survived by five sons: Ronald and Tina Davis Mitchell of Columbia, George R. Mitchell of Greensburg, Ralph E. and Patricia Mitchell of North Aurora, Illinois, Josiah “Jodie” and Teresa Mitchell of Campbellsville, Roderick “Rudy” Mitchell of Greensburg, two daughters: Phenelphia D. Williams of Batavia, Illinois and Catherine E. and Thomas Kleinfieldt of Aurora, Illinois, one step-son: Gary Harris of Bardstown, KY, one brother: Milton Ray and Mattie Haskins of Louisviile, twenty grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

Wake and Visitation: 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time Friday, July 27, 2018 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg and after 9 a.m. Central time Saturday at 2nd Baptist Church.
