Charles Eddie Christie was born October 25, 1946, in Green County, KY to the late George and Peggy Clark Christie. He departed this life Sunday, August 24, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY, having attained the age of seventy-eight years, nine months and thirty days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a truck driver and farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his children.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter: Rebecca Christie
He is survived by his wife Kathy Truax Christie, two sons and three daughters: Chris Christie, Bonnie Penick, Steve Pritchard, Zakarra and Katelynn Christie, all of Green County, four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Judy Whitlock of Nicholasville, KY, Joyce and David Corbin of Lexington, Georgia Houk and Melissa and John DeSpain, of Green County, one grandchild: Whitney Clark plus a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Charles Eddie Christie will be conducted 2 pm Central Time Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. James Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Greensburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, and after 7 am Wednesday, August 27, 2025, until the funeral time at 2 pm CT

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to SPCA Animal Cruelty. These can be made at the funeral home.
