Brenda Clark Currans

Mrs. Brenda Carol Clark Currans was born September 5, 1950, in Green County, KY to the late Earl Eugene Clark and Eunice Lemmons Clark. She departed this life Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of seventy-six years and twenty-one days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Asbury Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family, hunting, traveling and her flowers. She was a beautician and worked for Fruit-of-the-Loom. She was an insurance agent. She worked for State Farm Insurance and for Reed Brothers Insurance.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Buster” Currans November 26, 2019 and one daughter: Tonya Lynn Marshall Thomas October 25, 2025.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Clark and Kristin Marshall of Green County and Chris and Tammy Marshall of Marion County, two stepchildren: Chris and Stephanie of Lexington, one brother and sister-in-law: Lewis and Jane Clark of Greensburg, two sisters and one brother-in-law: Marsha Lobb of Greensburg, Mary Clark and her husband Buddy Embry of Tennessee, grandchildren: Madison, Trey, Josh, Austin, Jayden, Ethan and Jameson, great grandchildren: Riley and Brooklyn, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mrs. Brenda Clark Currans will be 2 PM Eastern Time Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Greg Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Hayes Cemetery in the Ebenezer Community of Green County.

The visitation will be 11 AM Eastern Time until 2 PM Eastern Time Wednesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
