Rebecca Lynn Christie

Ms. Rebecca Christie was born April 20, 1973 to Martha Anne Hall Christie and Charles “Eddie” Christie. She Departed this life on Saturday May 20, 2023 at her home in Murfreesboro, TN, having attained the age of 50 years and 1 month.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.  Rebecca was a graduate of Green County High School and attended Ky Wesleyan College and received her Bachelor’s Degree. She also loved to show sheep and participated in the state fair competitions. She enjoyed rock music, road trips, reading, and Wordle.

Rebecca is survived by her mother; Martha Anne Hall Christie of Greensburg, KY. Father and step mother: Charles “Eddie” and Cathy Christie, 3 children; Cynthia Christie, Kailyn Christie, and Zachary Brown. 2 grandchildren; Colson Christie and Louie Monroe Tometich all of Murfreesboro, TN. 1 brother; Charles “Chris” Christie of Greensburg, KY.,  And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Rebecca Christie will be held at 1 pm Central Time Monday, May  29, 2023, at Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Jared Ervin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday May 28, 2023 from  5-8 pm central time and on Monday May 29, 2023 from 7 am until the funeral hour at 1 pm Central Time Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Fry Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home for burial expenses. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg.
